To celebrate the upcoming release of Final Fantasy VII Remake for PS4 on April 10, players can enjoy new Final Fantasy VII-themed content in Square Enix’s mobile game, Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia. From today, March 24, through April 13, players can embark on new Final Fantasy VII-themed quests, limited time co-op quests, and access other special offers, including new gem and costume bundles.
Special Limited-Time Event: “Abyss: A New Episode”
“Abyss: A New Episode” is a new Final Fantasy VII-themed event that will feature challenging quest restrictions and enemy modifiers via Normal and Hard Modes. The limited-time event rewards include gems, armor tokens, power tokens, realization materials, and more.
Gem and Costume Bundles
New available bundles include a Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII-inspired blue dress for Aerith, a Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children-inspired outfit for Tifa, and a returning Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children-inspired outfit for Cloud.
Beginning now and lasting through April 6, players can experience the co-op quests “March of the Machines.” From March 31 to April 13, fans can also participate in “The Marauding Mimesis.” Players can exchange tokens earned from completing these quests for power tokens, armor tokens, draw tickets, and more.
Draw Banners with First Multi-Draw Free
The first banner, available now to April 6, features Cloud, Tifa, and Aerith. A second banner that will be available from March 31 to April 13 will feature three different characters.
Other limited-time Spring promotions
Other Spring promotions include new animated Kactuar co-op stickers, which are available for purchase with Dissidia Points starting today and lasting until April 13. There will also be special Chocobo panel missions, a 3x-Effect Support Item Sale, and 2x Rewards from Cycle Quests and 3x Rewards from Daily Missions until April 14.
Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia is available now as a free-to-play app with in-app purchases on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
Final Fantasy VII Remake will be available for the PlayStation 4 on April 10, 2020. The demo is available for PS4 owners now, allowing players to experience the game’s opening chapter. Those who download the demo before May 11, 2020 will also receive an exclusive theme when the full game launches in April.
